2023 School Board Elections – May 16, 2023

April 25, 2023 – A new voter registrant must submit their online registration by 11:59:59 p.m. Pacific Time on the 21st calendar day before an election to be eligible to vote in that election.

If you move out of Oregon, it is essential you remove your name from Oregon voter rolls to register to vote in another state.

You can update your voter registration information, until 8 p.m. on Election Day and still cast a ballot. However, if your registration is updated close to an election, your ballot might have to be issued at the county elections office.

May 16, 2023 – School Board & Local Board Elections

Last day for voter to return ballot. Ballots that are mailed must be postmarked by election day and received by May 23. Ballots deposited in an official drop box must be received by 8 pm on election day.

Plan for an I Voted Campaign!

Not voting is an unused ballot for someone to steal and vote for you.

Some people doubt that their single vote will decide an election’s outcome and think voting is a waste of time. Yet, we have seen many races that are decided by only a few votes. One race was determined by only two votes in the 2018 primary. Another race was tied and had to be decided by a dice roll. You can multiply your influence by encouraging your family and friends to vote.

You live here, work here, play here, dream here, raise your family here, and more. Your civic duty is to vote.
