The questionnaire is an important election tool. It asks all candidates the same questions and each candidate can answer how he or she wishes. There is no spin, or evasion. It provides information that is real. Voters that get their information from media reports, snippets of candidate quotes, or even closely quarded soundbites are not getting a true picture of how a candidate stands on the issues.
The questions are carefully worded, so that the candidates are able to answer honestly and represent themselves well, regardless of which side of the issues they are on.
